Keoneloa Beach
Known as “Shipwreck Beach,” is located on the South Kauai beach coastline that fronts the Hyatt Hotel. “Shipwreck Beach” garnered its name from a ship that ran aground years ago. Most of the ship has long since washed away but on occasion the motor is still visible. The beach is a good spot to sunbath, fish and watch experienced surfers, windsurfers and bodysurfers. Given the beaches currents swimming is not advised. The pubic access walkway entrance can be found between the Hyatt and Po`ipu Bay Resort Golf Course. The beach does have public restrooms and there are shower facilities for Hyatt guests. Additional beach information can be found HERE.
