Joe’s on the Green
No longer just a snack bar, Joe’s on the Green is now a full restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner and has an open-air bar that offers live Hawaiian music on Thursday nights. Breakfast specials include Joe’s special scramble made with ground beef, eggs and taro leaf; biscuits and gravy; eggs Benedict; huevos rancheros; and a variety of tropical fruit pancakes ($5 to $9). Some of the most popular lunch menus include the kalua pork sandwich; beer-battered fish-and-chips; Joe Mama burger; and Caesar salad ($7 to $9). Dinner offers an inventive and tasty menu that consists of menu entrees such as prawns wrapped in phyllo with banana curry sauce; kalua pork and lomi salmon ravioli; and fresh mahi-mahi in coffee lime beurre blanc sauce ($15 to $23). Joe’s on the Green is located at the Kiahana Golf Course in Po`ipu. Hours: Breakfast 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Lunch 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Dinner is served Wednesday and Thursday only from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Cocktails and pupus are served until 6 p.m. on weekends.
